All praise and gratitude we offer to Almighty God, because by His grace and blessings all of this can be realized in accordance with our shared aspirations.

The struggle of individuals in society to obtain job opportunities continues to become increasingly difficult each year. Many economic problems are faced by citizens both individually and collectively. One of the socio-economic issues faced by citizens is the high level of unemployment. This is caused by recession, depression, technological improvements and advancements, outsourcing jobs, voluntarily leaving one job to move to another, and the limited availability of job opportunities. Many citizens are not absorbed into employment, resulting in various subsequent issues such as poverty, crime, and increased dependence on the state, family, and relatives, while national per capita income continues to decline.

As is known, there are several types of unemployment, including:

  • Cyclical Unemployment
  • Structural / Technological Unemployment
  • Regional Unemployment
  • Institutional Unemployment
  • Frictional Unemployment
  • Seasonal Unemployment

In addition, there are also types of unemployment based on work potential, namely:

  • Underemployment
  • Disguised Unemployment

Based on these studies and identifications, it is necessary to seek solutions so that the right to work and obtain social protection remains an important goal to achieve.

Learning from history, the glory of a nation does not fall from the sky, but must be fought for through hard work and self-effort.

Therefore, we must stop blaming circumstances and begin to unite for one another, take different choices from the norm, and abandon old perspectives regarding work and job opportunities.

With the spirit of loving the nation and sharing with fellow citizens, based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, a concrete step has been taken to lead a National Movement in transforming unemployment into productivity.

That transformation is carried out through:

  • Strengthening education
  • Industrial development
  • Integration of labor into the global ecosystem

Therefore, an association was formed that focuses on the struggle to overcome the problem of UNEMPLOYMENT and foster the spirit of entrepreneurship.

The association is called Indonesian Unemployment Association (APSINDO).

APSINDO is a platform for uniting aspirations, inspiration, and the potential of society to fight for the rights of the unemployed as citizens and to accelerate the realization of a prosperous nation.

APSINDO does not marginalize the unemployed, but involves them directly to rise, become strong, and productive.

“If you are unemployed, do not isolate yourself, and if you isolate yourself, do not be unemployed.”

Prosper be my nation.
Goodbye unemployment.
Welcome the dignity of the nation’s citizens.
